I hate the pull you have over me.  I hate how I stammer and stare.  I hate it when you look at me,  ‘Cuz you don’t see I’m there.  I hate it when you stare at her  Because I know I stare the same  I hate that she rejected you  ‘Cuz I know that caused you pain.  I hate that I had to watch you all night  When I didn’t want to go.  I hate that you rejected me,  That we’ll never walk in the snow.  But what I hate the most about you,  I swear, the most of all,  Is that I can’t bring myself to hate you  Not a little, not at all.
